Lyndsey started an asana practice in 2000 before she really knew it was a practice at all. She was never one to enjoy the gym but has always been drawn to movement. So when yoga was suggested to her at age 14, she thought she’d give it a try. Little did she know, those first poses would evolve into a 19-year practice that would serve as a workout in her teens, ground her in her 20s and eventually lead her to a cherished teaching career in her 30s.
Through the inspiring instruction of Ame Wren & Lynne Begier, Lyndsey completed her 200-hour teaching certification at Back Bay Yoga in 2012. Since then she has continued her education with trainings in yin, prenatal and hands-on adjustments. Most recently, Lyndsey has been captivated by breathwork and has been trained as a Level 1 facilitator by Erin Telford. Lyndsey participates in continuing education series and regular practice, both in yoga and in pranayama.
Lyndsey teaches yoga in Boston, Massachusetts and takes an anatomical approach to alignment in her intelligently sequenced vinyasa classes. As years go by, she’s continuously more enamored by the human body and all its moving parts. She is always excited to share new insights she learns about the body, movement and breath with her students. Lyndsey hopes that, through her teaching, she can inspire future yogis, the way her teachers inspired her, to find stillness of mind, strength of body and peace within their heart.

Healing & Breathwork: Your body is a container that holds every experience, every emotion, every thought and every feeling you've ever had. And like a container, it should be washed and cleaned on a regular basis. Work one-on-one with Lyndsey to learn to breath in a way that allows you to get out of your head and into your body. In a way that allows you to move through and wash off any experience that is weighing you down. This style of breath will help you move energy, meditate, become more mindful, release, process and heal. Lyndsey was recently certified as a breath work healer by Erin Telford in Brooklyn, NY and will be continuing her studies with David Elliott in LA this spring.
