Easy, Healthy & Tasty Recipe: Banana Oat Bars

  • 1 cup bananas smashed

  • 1 egg

  • 1 1/2 cup rolled oats

  • 2 tbsp maple syrup

  • 1/2 cup peanut butter or other nut butter

  • 1/2 tsp baking soda

  • 1/4 cup chocolate chips

  • 1 tsp vanilla

  • 1 tsp cinnamon


Preheat the oven to 375 degrees. Smash bananas in a large bowl then slowly mix in peanut butter, oats, maple syrup and egg. Once these ingredients are well mixed, you can add the baking soda, chocolate chips, vanilla and cinnamon. Line a 9x9 pan with parchment paper, then pour the batter into the pan. Bake for about 20 minutes.
