Teacher Feature Friday

In the decade since Nikki Van Noy walked into her first yoga class, her practice has evolved from a primarily physical practice to a means of finding peace, grounding, humor, and a time for play. In her classes, Nikki strives to provide her students with a practice that is simultaneously physically invigorating and mentally and spiritually renewing. She loves that yoga is constantly offering lessons—there is always a way to make subtle adjustments that render poses more fluid and rejuvenating. Most of all, yoga is a reprieve—a way to escape from the world for a little bit and reconnect with oneself in a way that also transforms life off of the mat.
