My cousin and I love artichokes! Grammy made them every Christmas and then she started making them the past few year. We usually eat the whole thing by tearing it leaf by leaf, dipping it in a homemade lemon butter deliciousness and going until we get it all the way down to the heart. But recently, while up north, my husband and I stopped into this cute little place called Tavern 27. A tapas style restaurant in what seemed like the owners home with a live piano player and a piping hot fire. To say the least it was quaint. We tried these artichoke bites topped with cheese and a pecan, so easy and yet so delicious. One to try at home at the next dinner party for sure!
