Homemade Organic Raw (?) Vegan Reeses

Reeses Peanut Butter Cups are one of my all time favorite candies! The commercials that ask  "How do you eat you reeses?"... I'll tell you - I eat off al the chocolate and save the peanut butter for last.  Yes, it takes a little more effort than maybe its worth but I've always been one that saves the best bite for last!

What you'll need:

  • Organic Peanut Butter
  • Organic Powdered Sugar
  • Pink Himalayan Salt
  • Coconut Oil
  • Organic Cocoa Powder
  • Agave

Directions:

  1. In a bowl, mix together -
  2. 1/4 C. Peanut Butter
  3. Sprinkle of salt
  4. 1/4 - 1/2 C. Powdered Sugar (to taste)
  5. Mix together until dough like
  6. Roll into small balls and flatten into thick patties
  7. Place on a baking sheet covered with parchment paper
  8. Place into freezer
  1. In a seperate bowl, mix together -
  2. 3 - 4 T. Cocoa Powder (to taste)
  3. 2 T. Coconut Oil
  4. 2 T. Powdered Sugar
  5. 2 T. Agave
  1. Remove PB patties from freezer
  2. Dip each pattie into the chocolate mix and place back on baking sheet
  3. Repeat for each pattie and place sheet back in freezer
  4. If you want the chocolate to be thicker, redip each pattie after the first layer has hardened
  5. Repeat until chocolate is at desired thickness
  6. Leave in freezer only until chocolate is hardened (5 min.)
  7. Remove patties from sheet and place in airtight container, store in fridge
