Crayola Art

What you'll need:

  • Green and Brown Crayons (I used two boxes worth and found that Crayola works the best)
  • Red Felt
  • Jewels
  • Canvas
  • Glue
  • Double sided tape
  • Blow dryer or space heater

Canvas Directions:

  1. I unwrapped all of my crayons but you could leave them partially wrapped if you wanted
  2. Lay a strip of double sided tape across one edge of the canvas
  3. Lay the crayons onto the tape in the order that you want them
  4. Take a blow dryer or space heater and hover it over the crayons until they melt.
  5. Angle the canvas so the wax drips down as far as you want it to go - beware the wax doesnt drip off the other side (I ruined my table doing this).
  6. Lay flat to cool

Flower Directions:

  1. Take a piece of felt and cut it into thin strips
  2. Take one strip and put a spot of glue in the middle
  3. Lay another strip acorss the glue
  4. Repeat until your flower is as large as you want it
  5. Take a jewel and glue to the middle of the flower
  6. Glue flower onto canvas
