It has been such a crazy week! I haven't posted anything this week and we are away all weekend for Nicks sisters WEDDING!!! So baking, crafting and posting will have to be put on the back burner for a bit.
I saw this walking home from work the other day, I thought it was so cool and inspirational and can really make you think about what's important. Basically it's a big 3 sided chalk board that was put out right in the middle of the greenway with a bucket of chalk. Each line says "Before I die I want to ______________" and it's left up to the people of Boston to fill in the blanks. When I walked by, it was covered in chalk, some things were silly others serious but you could tell that people took the time and maybe just a minute of their day to think about their life and what they want to do with it.
Life really is the most precious and fragile yet moldable thing we have. It can be easily shattered but it can also be molded into whatever you want to make of it. With Noreen's wedding in just a FEW days I thought this was a perfect post! Marrying the one you love and committing yourselves to one another is taking the time to realize that before you die you want to be with this person everyday for the rest of your lives. Life is short and although you may have a million other "before I die" adventures, the point is that you want to experience them with the other person.
I'm so excited for Noreen and Tim - this weekend is going to be a blast! But for those of you in that state of confusion about life, that everyone goes through at one time or another, just ask yourself - What do I want to do before I die?
